Batista retires from WWE and pro wrestling after WrestleMania 35

Batista faced Triple H at WrestleMania last night in a losing cause and missed out on an opportunity to retire his nemesis Triple H infront of a packed crowd.

Though the stipulation of the match was set with Triple H’s wrestling career on the line, it looks like Batista’s pro-wrestling career was also on the line during the bout, as The Animal officially announced his retirement just hours after the match.

Batista took it to his twitter account to officially confirm to the WWE Universe that he’s retiring from WWE and pro wrestling:

Batista and Triple H had a grueling encounter at the show of shows last night which ended with Ric Flair assisting Triple H by helping him finish Batista with a Sledge Hammer followed by a Pedigree.
