Injured Former Champion returning to the WWE very soon

Injuries have become a massive concern for the WWE as of late, with Jason Jordan, Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens facing injuries being this close for the Royal Rumble. Fortunately an injured superstar seems to be returning to in-ring action very soon to fight for the title he lost recently.

In case you did not know, Drew McIntyre lost the NXT Championship to Andrade “Cien” Almas in November last year and has been dealing with a bicep injury since then. Thankfully he has an update and it seems he will be returning to in-ring action very soon. McIntyre tweeted the following recently:

“I’ve been a wrestler over half my life, spent a third in America and lived at more addresses than I can remember, but, there has always been one constant I could call home”

This may mean that he is training hard for an in-ring return and if reports are true, he may be heading to RAW or Smackdown LIVE after WrestleMania later this year.
